The Wild Sushi: Beginnings

Posted in The Making of The Wild Sushi by adrienne on the August 4th, 2006

The Wild Sushi aircraft and skit have undergone some changes since the beginning of this process.

Back in May 2006, when The Wild Sushi was given the green light by Red Bull to participate in Canada’s first Flugtag event, the concept of the aircraft was completely different to what it is today.  The original plan was to have the chopsticks act as a lever and drop sushi into the water.

In July, the skit for Team Sushi Gone Wild took another incarnation:

If you want to see what the final aircraft and skit will look like, you’ll have to join the masses at False Creek (by Science World) on Saturday, August 19!
